The retro Pin-Up look has to be my favorite to shoot! The whole look and feel of that era is so sexy and glamorous, how could you just not love it!!

Teresa and I first talked about what we would do with her photo session a while back. She was looking for a pin up style photographer for her shoot. We both did some research and came up with some great ideas.

Camila (the most awesome make-up artist in the world!) did her usual amazing job! She captures the look and feel of the era in her make-up styles. Teresa had red matte lips, and a gorgeous smokey eyes... she was like something right out of a magazine...just incredible!
Camila added her fabulous hair style too!

Ok, I know, no one ever likes the before images... but we all look!

New Pin up set!!

I would like to welcome Pink Plush Pinup!!!
My mom and I worked on this new set this weekend, and it is awesome!!

I have received so many requests for Pin-up type photos, I decided at add a few things to the studio. There are several artists that I looked at and I decided that the 1940's style seem to be my favorite. This ultra retro pink seat is gonna be a huge hit!! I have designed an additional surprise to "Pinky" too. There are several options on accent color choices too, black fur and Zebra!! Check back soon the see when I post some photos!

Misty had a great time! She was only mildly nervous to begin with, and that really helps. Camila did a smokey eye and made Misty's blue eyes just jump out, her skin and hair combination is incredible!!! She truly is beautiful...

Kat he absolutely loved them! I think he loved how beautiful and sexy they made me feel even more though! Thank you for suggesting the heel in the underwear one, he said that one was one of his favorites. When I told him that there was more on the computer he was ready to drop everything and get online to see them. He couldn't rave enough about how gorgeous my eyes looked in all of the pictures...thank you!

I know this might confuse some of my faithful followers! Normally you wouldn't expect to see a boy on a boudoir site. I considered not posting them, but then I thought there are probably more than a few women out there that would like some of the more intimate portraits of her and the one she loves!

Tara and I talked about what she wanted to do with her shoot. She had some great ideas that included a boudoir shoot and a few images that included boyfriend!

Tara showed up first and we did her boudoir shots. Then John cam along and we got some classy yet sensual shots of the two of them together. The "no boys" rule still stands, so John had to show up after Tara's shoot.

Here is what Nicole had to say...

I am that woman that never quite feels good enough...I just know the key to my happiness lies in losing my last ten pounds or perhaps finding the magic eraser for the stretchmarks I have after two babies. Oh and don't let me forget...if that miracle cellulite cream really ever starts to work, well, I'll take a thousand tubes. Yup, that's me alright.

My husband had been begging me for years to let him take sexy pictures of me and the couple of times I obliged, the cheap bedroom lighting and makeup I had on since 6:00 am just didn't quite fit the bill. As a matter of fact, I came to dread the sight of him standing in the room with that sheepish grin on his face holding the camera and hoping just maybe I would give in. Fat chance. Oh, and putting on sexy lingerie just to go to bed? Ugh...I'd rather jump over a bridge. Poor guy;-(

Three weeks before my tenth wedding anniversary, I was reading our neighborhood circular when I came across Kat's ad. I had been struggling with what to get my husband for this milestone anniversary and I thought, "Oh my goodness!! He would love that!!" I figured if Kat could photoshop me enough, I might be able to get a couple good pictures to hand over and I'd get him off my back for another ten years!! Well...was I ever in for a surprise. I got on the website and filled out the contact info secretly hoping I wouldn't get a follow up phone call. No chance. Kat called within hours. We set up a meeting to discuss what I was looking for and within the first ten minutes, I knew I was in for the biggest package she had! Her professionalism is unquestionable and her work is exceptional. When I saw the before and after pictures of some of her clients, I figured she could work a miracle on me too. The actual photo shoot was indescribable. I felt so at ease and comfortable. Kat guided me and told me exactly where to look, how to pose, how to smile (or not) and I just listened to her and did what I was told. We finished up the three hour shoot (and by the way, Camila is OUTSTANDING on the makeup) and Kat told me she'd probably have my pictures up on the site in a couple hours. I am not used to this type of efficiency so when I got the text message at 1:30 in the morning, I couldn't believe it. Well...I was up until 5:00 admiring my pictures and waiting for someone in the free world to wake up so I could show them off. By the end of the day, we had my shots selected (I was supposed to choose 40 for my book...I chose 60) and Kat put together and ordered my book. Exactly 24 hours later, my anniversary gift to my husband is on its way. Wow.

I would like to tell you that the greatest thing about this photo shoot is the end product and the anticipation I have about seeing my husband's face light up when he unwraps his gift and sees that beautiful picture on the front of the book. Although I am certainly excited about that, I have to be honest and tell you that isn't the best part of this whole experience for me. For this once self conscience and way too hard on herself girl, the best part of it all is looking at these pictures and thinking "You know what, girl? Screw those stretchmarks and cellulite!! You look amazing!!"

Viva Las Vegas

Every year a group of girls save our pennies and make the annual trek to Vegas.
This is purely a vacation trip.. usually!

There were a few new faces on the '09 voyage this time.
One of our newbies was Madalyn. First off Madalyn is gorgeous! She has the most beautiful brown eyes, thick dark hair, and skin like a teenager. Not only that but she is a really warm and friendly person.

We decided that we would do something totally out of character for her, and we did a Boudoir shoot right in the hotel room! Her anniversary is on or close to valentines day and she is going to give her hubby something really special!

Susan came in for a "Simple Shoot" aka Valentines Day Special. This is the current promotion that we are running. It's a 20 minute shoot, with one outfit, but you can do something like bra and panties with shirt and jeans...

Susan has such pretty blue eyes. Camila did her make up and she accented them beautifully!

I love this sexy/casual look!

When the shoot was over, Susan had dressed and was ready to leave. She was wearing this over sized shirt and turquoise earrings with her jeans. She just looked so natural, and I had to get this last image... I think it's one of my favorites...

Here is Susan had to say...

I turned 50 in March of 2008 and in June, I found myself getting ready to go through an unexpected divorce after a 17 year relationship, to say the least my world had fallen apart and I was devastated. Talk about feeling unattractive, undesireable, not sexy in the least little bit . . . that was were I was at. On January 1st, I decided it was time to pick up the pieces of my life and rediscover "Susan" and move on. I was thumbing through my neighborhood newspaper looking for something positive to do the area and I came across Kat's ad. I looked at that ad for the next several days and finally said why not, what could it hurt. So I called. I met Kat at her home and we discussed all my options and I was so comfortable after talking to her I said let's do it as soon as possible. So two days later, I was knocking on her door for my photo shoot. From the moment I arrived, I felt like a model. Camilla did my makeup and what can I say but AMAZING. Then it was time for the shoot -- Kat made me feel so comfortable and like a true model. I had the best time doing the shoot. When I left her house, I had attitude! Then I get the email from Kat saying my photos were ready to review. All's I can saw is WOW is that really me and am I really 50 going on 51! I would recommend this to anyone (and I am) whether you want to do it for that special man in your life or you just want to do it for yourself like I did. You will come away from the experience feeling like the sexiest woman out there.

A Lifetime experience!
I had always wanted to do something like this, but never found the place. Until one day, it magically came to my hands, Kat's phone number. I called thinking an answering machine was going to pick up because it was a little late at night, but to my big surprise, she picked the phone! She went over a few things and we made the appointment so I could go and look at her studio. For me everything was perfect and cool and I was so excited to do my shoot. I don't have a good looking body and my face is so so, I was afraid that I was going to look on those pictures like the everyday me. But CAMILA did her magic for me, I looked WONDERFUL and BEAUTIFUL. Then the shooting started, and I felt so good and so pretty. I really felt like a model! Kat made it special and made me feel as if I was the center of attention and I WAS. I love the idea that it was only going to be me and her, no guys allowed at all. The worst part about the experience is waiting for that beautiful book to come. I wanted to call Kat every five minutes to ask her if Fedex had delivered my book. I don't even know how many times I've looked at it, but every time I do I fall in love with my self because I look AWESOME and that was thanks to Camila and Kat. Oh and by the way my husband loved it too! I don't have words to explain the look of his face when he looked at it. So if you are undecided, don't think about it, just do it!
It's a lifetime experience!

The "Pin Up" look is back!!!

For the last 75 years "pin up" posters have adorned many mens shops, lockers, and barracks. The fascination with this look has hardly changed over the years.

I have many women ask about doing a pin up style shoot so I continually search for images and props. Ginger came to me wanting to do a retro type shoot. I am so happy with her images!

Not everyone can post photos

When ladies come to me to have boudoir photos taken, they have usually done quite a bit of homework. One of the things I hear all the time is that they appreciate all the other girls that have given permission for their images to be posted. The testimonials are always helpful too.

Not everyone can have their images posted, this was the case with Jessica.

Here is what Jessica had to say...

I have to say that Kat does a more-than-words job on the boudoir photos! They are more like works of art, rather than photos. I was very nervous when I was driving to her house for my session and I thought about turning my car around and just saying, “Forget it!” But, I kept on driving and somehow, made it to my destination. This was completely out of my comfort zone and nothing I would have ever even considered, because if you look on the website, all of the girls are a size one! However; being a couple of sizes larger than a size one (wink, wink), I told myself that I could do this. I had no idea what to expect and had so many fears about what I was doing! You’ll have to ask Kat about the whole corset incident. Somehow, they laughed it off and made me feel super comfortable in all of my not-so-sexy glory. I am not the girl with a drawer full of lingerie and threw into a bag anything that wasn’t cotton and somehow, they transformed me into a better, and might I add, more beautiful me. When I saw the pictures, I was stunned and thinking, “WOW, this girl cannot be me!” Kat works very hard to make sure she is getting all of the right angels, as to hide our “problem areas.” I cannot place my photos on the website because I am a teacher, but you are welcome to see my before and afters at your consultation.

P.S. Do not try your sexy face in the mirror. It does nothing to boost your morale and will actually make you feel like a total dork! I looked like a contorted circus animal. So, just trust Kat and you’ll be fine!

The Girls Day Out

Last weekend was full on photo!!! A group of girls decided that this would be the perfect gift for the man in their life. We met about a week before and made some decisions on sets, looks, and make up. The day turned out so fun! We got an early start and everyone loved Camilas expert makeup!

This worked out perfect for all the girls since they were going to a Christmas party later in the evening.

After the shoot we did a group photo of all the girls. It was a great day and we got some fantastic images!

Lisa was the first up for photos. I loved the b/w look... in some of the images she looks a little like Uma Thurman.

When I first met Jessica we talked about what she wanted for her shoot. She told me that she was pretty nervous, and not too sure about the whole boudoir/sexy face thing. I reassured her that we all have that woman inside of us, and it just takes a glass of bubbly to bring it out!

Ladies, I would be one of the first to say that I’m not able to pull off the sexy look, much less get in front of a camera in anything less than a full outfit; I mean I have my problem areas just as much as the next girl. Kat made me feel so at ease, and it wasn’t just the couple glasses of champagne she offered me (wink wink). She really made me feel like I was there with one of my closest girlfriends. But I have to tell you that if you’re even looking at this website right now, you should just go ahead and call Kat now! Walking in her door, I was determined to get the Basic Package, but after looking at the hardcover books, which are as good as any other coffee table book…but obviously not for your coffee table, and touring her studio and lingerie room, I was sold and immediately upgraded without a second thought. Looking at all the different beautiful women Kat has photographed, I had full confidence that she could capture that careful and pleasing position. So if you’re worried about the few extra pounds you just put on, don’t even bother with it because you’ll be satisfied with your pictures no matter your size or problem areas. I believe every woman should do this at least once, even if not for anyone else but herself. I’m telling you that I am so excited with my pictures, the only thing keeping me from giving the book to my husband right now, two weeks before Christmas, is that I don’t have it! I’ve been so tempted to just bring him to the website and show him my proofs! But the book will be so beautiful that I know it’s worth the wait.

Bridget entered my photography world about a year ago. Along with boudoir photography, I also do several other types of events and stuff. Bridget and I both have a love for motorcycles, although I haven't actually started riding yet! I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed my shoot. When I lost my husband Richard three years ago I thought my life ended. I felt ugly and dead. Well a few months ago I decided to live again. I had weight loss surgery and started to feel good about myself. I saw your ad in the Cinco Ranch magazine a couple of months in a row and had what I call a light bulb moment. I thought I can do this for me not for anyone else. I made the call to you and came for visit and saw just how beautiful the photos were. I thought they would be just put in a photo album . To my surprise they were much much more than that. I told my friends what I was going to to do some thought I was crazy but most went Wow go for it. It had to have been one of the best times in my life. I would call it a life changing moment . We had such a great time and I now consider you a friend. Now I am not a size two ! Never have been never will be. I do however LOVE being a girl and it was like a grown up dress up session. I love my curves and you covered my "flaws" that I do not like. I would and will do this again !
The session made me go from widow to woman again. In fact one of the quotes in my book came from my Husband. He would always tell me that One one word could describe a women and that word was... More. So in a way he is part of my book like he wil always be a part of my life. Anyone that thinks I could never do this is just plain wrong . You come alive in the session like you would not believe. If anyone is thinking about doing this do it for yourself as well as for your husband or boyfriend . I thought I would lock my book away but now I think the coffee table will be it's home. Oh and I am having one of the photos enlarged for my bedroom ! I am fifty five years old and now when I am seventy I can look back and go I looked hot at fifty five.

This was totally a last minute gift idea! Katie came to me as a referral... We were able to schedule her right away and provide her with a "teaser" print to give her boyfriend... Kind of a place holder, until her book arrives.

Katie wanted add a pin up style element to her shoot. I have this killer 1940's polka dot dress dress, and wouldn't you know it, she shows up with shoes to match!! We did a killer wind up the skirt set that led into a "just whats under the dress" kinda thing.. We both had fun with it!!

I love the look of the black and white.... I actually have a framed print of Katies shoot in my studio. (of course with her permission!)

Carmen is only weeks away from her wedding, and she wanted to do something really special for her future hubby. She had this cool idea. She wants to have a picture painted based on her photo.

It's a mixture of natural light and dreamy white! I thinks it's going to be a big hit!
